You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

i tried a clean install on another test domain:

http://taartufo.nl/clubeclipse

There is only the Eventure theme, no plugins and only the demo content.
When i go to menu item "Events" the same order in time. First item is most in the future then dates closer to now.
Still don't know what is wrong. I used my category setup like the this demo.

If you like i will give you the username and password.

Hi there,

If you have categories properly assigned as child category of the main event category, then they would appear as filter options on the calendar. I don't see any filter options in the calendar, which indicates to me you haven't properly assigned the main category as the parent for those other categories.

On the category edit screen, you can assign a parent category. Have you done this for the other event categories?

Have you made any edits to the template files? If so, please revert to a default setup of the theme to make sure those edits didn't cause this issue.

Also, please be sure to deactivate additional plugins while you troubleshoot this issue.

Let me know.

Best,

Chris

After long research the problem with slow loading page is the NExtgen widget with thumnails photo's. But the issue with the menu item is still te same. The category items still start from future date and end with recent dates.

I see that you think that the problem is the main calander (these options are in Customize page undre Theme), but that is not the problem. The problem are menu items based on a category with parent and childs.
I also have parent and child pages, but these take a long time to load. (under media-> foto) The pages take a long time to load. But display the data correct.

There may be a problem with parent child relations, but not on the Theme

It also takes a very long before the agenda items show on the page. Other pages don't take that long.

Hi there,

If "Agenda" is your main category, select that as the category on the Customize page.

Then Agenda, and all child categories, should list posts from oldest > newest.

If that doesn't occur, please provide a link to your site and I'll check it out.

Best,

Chris

I have the following order:

catorgy item "Agenda"-> child nr 1 "event pop"
catorgy item "Agenda"-> child nr 2 "event rock"
catorgy item "Agenda"-> child nr 3 "event soul"

On the calander all child events all displayed. I choose jusit one catergory in the theme options.
I have created a menu item with category "Agenda" . This will list all agenda items from future until now.
When I remove the parent child relation in the category ( and all events don't have a child) all the submenu items are displayed from now to the latest in the future. Problem is on my front page, i can't select multiple categories.

What is wrong with this approach?

Hi there,

All child categories of the main event category will display in that order. Just make sure you have a main event properly assigned on the Customize page and that other categories have the event category assigned as the parent. Example...

Main Event > Main Event's Category Child > Main Event's Category Child's Child

Let me know if that helps.

Hi,

i have a menu item with one catergory and 2 child category. When i choose the parent category in my menu item all the post show up in future to past descending order. I need them all to be from present to future descending order.
When I adjust the categories and there are no child categories, the items are shown from the present to the future and this is correct.
How do I get to display the parent and child categories to present them from the present to the future?
