I'm having this same issue, but it seems to be limited to IOS. I have tried safari and Chrome on IOS 8 and they both come up as a grey drop down menu.

When testing it on Android 4.2 they appear correctly in both Chrome and Internet.

In an earlier post (http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/mobile-compatible#post-22925) you posted a graphic that showed the menu in responsive mode as black. When I visit the test site now (and my own site) the drop down is gray. How can I get it to look more like the picture? (black background without the combo box graphic)?
