Hi there,

Couple things...

1. I'm unable to recreate this restriction. On two separate installations, I'm able to change the icon before and after publishing with no issues.

2. You can customize the permalink on the post/page edit screen.

I don't see anything in the theme that would be causing this issue. Until more users report a similar issue, I'm left to assume this is something unique with your particular setup.

Yep, that worked. It seems that however you first publish or save to draft a page, that icon remains locked at whatever state it is in.

For example:
-If you save it as a draft or publish it without an icon, you can't add an icon later.
-If you publish with one icon, you can not change later.

So the only way to change or add an icon is to create an entirely new page. The only problem now is that the permalink ends up being permanently changed from "about" to "about-2."

Have you tried creating a new page to see if it might just be something specific to those pages?

I set a menu button icon on a page and it does not work. I just reverts back to its default of not having one. I was able to set the first four page menu button icons, but the other four refuse to display. They just keep resetting to the default of none. Also,the original three icons that did work refuse to change and are stuck with the original icons I choose. This pretty frustrating, because its a pretty simple task that just requires selecting from a drop-down menu. I have gone all the way to reinstalling wordpress and the MISC theme. I have even tried turning plugins on and off. Please advise.

1)How can I fix these I cons to get them working?
2)What is the alternative for mobile if the icons on this theme are buggy/unreliable?
