Please understand the current method is intentional and not considered a bug. Every approach to managing and creating a gallery has its benefits and its drawbacks. In developing this theme, I made a decision that this current method has the most benefits for the intended use of the theme.

That said, please be sure to post feature requests here: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-feature-requests-for-the-curator and maybe provide some details on how you would prefer to manage the site galleries and images.

I tried it, it worked.

The attached images to the post will act as featured images.
The unattached images can be used in the content of the post.

But this is a problem too, things will take much more time to be done.
Hope you can make an update for the theme soon.

Hi,

I have added the post image and featured image from the Media library.
Then I go back to the post
insert the media image into the post content
set featured image

The result: there is no appearance to the featured image, instead the content image appeared twice, as a featured and as a content image.

I appreciate if you login to my admin and edit the post "Letter from the Ministry of Culture" this way:

Insert the "letter-from-ministry-of-culture-lebanon.jpeg" as content image.
Insert "ministry-of-culture-republic-of-lebanon.jpeg" as featured image.

Let me see if its possible.

If you want to insert images into the post, but not have them display in the slider area, you need to upload them from the media page (not the post edit page). Once they're uploaded from the media page, you can then go to the post edit screen and navigate the media library to insert the images into the post content area.

The featured image is exempt from this process because assigning an image as the featured image will attach it to the post (regardless of where it was uploaded).

Because this is very confusing. i mean how can i insert multiple images in the content with different locations? like this format:

Hi there,

You don't need to insert images into the post content area. If you upload them to the post, they will automatically be added to the post slider feature. The slider feature includes featured images because featured images are attached to the post.

Hope that makes sense.

Since this is how the theme is intended to behave, I'm curious to know what it was doing before?

Hello,

I have setup and completed the theme without any problem, but suddenly, without doing any changes, something went wrong.

Now every time i add a post image, it will appear as featured and as media image. so I'll have the same image doubled over each others.

Please I need help as soon as possible, the website is now published and it is related to the ministry of culture. I cant wait so long to fix it.
