Make sure you properly specified the category for the featured slider on the theme options page.

That is odd, I only placed the post in the media category, and it still showed in the Featured slider. Any ideas?

Make sure you properly specified the category for the featured slider and that the post doesn't have that category assigned to it.

When I post something in the media category, it automatically shows up in the Featured slider. How do I prevent this? Thank you.
