the theme isnt setup for pages to display maps just custom backgrounds

After much experimentation I still can not get a map view to appear as a background when I use “Add New Page’ in WP with your Navigator WP v1.3 theme activated. When I type in either a street address & city or lat/long. into theme’s Custom Post Option fields for a POST Safari displays a map at whatever view value was entered, but when I paste in either a street address & city or lat./long. into the Custom Post Option fields to setup a new PAGE only a blank, medium gray background displays in a browser, but no map view. Please explain how to get a map view to display as a background in a PAGE like it does in a POST.

If instead I remove address/lat-long. specs and configure the PAGE to show an image as a background, the image does display properly.
