Sorry Chris for the long post. Don't get me wrong, the template is awesome and I always find some kind of workaround or discover that it was just my stupidity again. Hope you don't mind me getting into detail here.

Hi Chris,

thanks for always being so patient with your pupils :)

Unfortunately 3 things I can't seem to solve on my own:

1)
Please take a look at http://www.petraquilitz.com, there click on ...more / qbus and go to detail page of a post that starts with "Nr 1" (there are only 6 posts in there, numbered from Nr 1 to Nr 6 (Nr is German for No)). The side panel width is not the usual 550, but 377 squshing all landscape images into the portrait width. I didn't change its size in the CSS> I think it might have to do with the images. They are placed with the flickr.com share/Grab the HTML/BBCode command. The width of the panel seems to align itself to the width of the vertical images, while the horizontal images get squished to that width. The strange thing is, as I was making the posts yesterday, it all looked fine and the panel had the correct 550 width. Now I look at it and all side panels in that map section are 377 while the ones without images have the 550. Do you have a clue? It would be great if all side panels always had the same width. I don't know where to set that since I didn't change it and it looked fine before.

2)
In the Theme Options, I selected one of my category named "all". The goal was to make all posts with that category "not" have a map. All my portfolio posts have the category "all" attached to them.

(on the side: you know, what might be great here is if there was an explanation text next to that entry field, explaining that whatever you enter here will make the map disappear and show the posts regularly underneath each other with the default background image etc. I keep forgetting if what I enter there makes the map show up, or not show up) But anyway....

Now what is happening is that I can't use categories any more as a way to "filter" portfolio content in the menu (please see petraquilitz.com, and click on "work"). Whenever I add another category as a new menu entry, the posts all get the map applied to them, although without a pin and a "ghost" location. The system doesn't seem to pick up if a category is attached to a post or not. It only seems to look at the category in the menu in which it is sorted and attach either background image or map, disregarding if there are even map coordinates. Actually, the name of the field in the Theme options should therefore not be "Blog Category", but "Blog Menu Category". Am I understanding this correctly? Does that mean that for posts without map, one can't use the menu to filter them? Or is there another way to make all category pages in "work" look like the first one "all" ?

3)
When you click on "all" you see all portfolio posts the way they should be, but clicking on one of the category links unterdneath all only shows the first one in that category group (we are in the map layout and it says 1/1 in the marker section at the bottom). I guess if 2) was solved, that would automatically solve 3. But if not, then the question here is why the other posts that have that category applied are not showing up in the marker section. I can get to them fine when I click on "all", but I can't get to them throug the menu category links. And shouldn't there be default background image, and not the map? What am I doing wrong?

Hope this was clear. Sorry for the long rambling. Let me know if you need screenshots in case I didn't make myself clear enough.

Thanks!
Petra
