Wish I could provide specific instructions, but when I'm in Photoshop, I'm all over the place trying things out and just end up at a place I'm happy with. All I can say is it's a combination of layer styles, patterns and randomness :-)

First off, I love this theme. Great work! I had it installed and working in minutes. I do have a customization question though regarding the toggle-able world map.

The organization I'm working with is a local one, serving a city (not the world). I have have a nice silhouette of the city skyline, but wondering if you'd be willing to share the technique you used to create the map.png file that was included with this theme? I really like how yours turned out and am hoping I can create a similar one of Seattle.
