Hi there,

Images need to be attached to the post in order to appear in the gallery tab. If you upload images from the media page (not the post edit screen), then they will not be attached to the post. You need to click the "add media" button on the post edit screen and upload the images from there in order for them to get attached to the post.

To delete them, simply delete them from your library. To use images and not have them be attached to the post, you'll need to upload them from the media upload page and copy the url of the image (clicking insert into post may attach the image to the post).

Regarding the Gallery text, that's located in single.php on line 47.

I read the forum but i really dont understand anything to up load or delete photo in the gallery of an article ...... and i would change the word gallery tags more in french ...... Could you help me please ... Best regard
