Open up script.php and script_list.php and change all instances of the following from this...

streetViewControlOptions: {
	position: google.maps.ControlPosition.RIGHT_CENTER
},
zoomControl:true,
zoomControlOptions: {
	style: google.maps.ZoomControlStyle.DEFAULT,
	position: google.maps.ControlPosition.RIGHT_CENTER
}

...to this...

streetViewControlOptions: {
	position: google.maps.ControlPosition.LEFT_CENTER
},
zoomControl:true,
zoomControlOptions: {
	style: google.maps.ZoomControlStyle.DEFAULT,
	position: google.maps.ControlPosition.LEFT_CENTER

Well, I got the sidebar to stay open but covers up the zoom in/out slider. Is there a simple way of moving the slider to the left side of screen?

Hi there,

It's working for me. Remember, the script is just to open the sidebar on category and post pages. To have the sidebar open on ALL pages, use this instead...

jQuery('#widgetsOpen').click();
