Hi there,

Your main "menu" button is a category link. You need to change that to point to the home page. If you click "view all" in the pages section on the menus page, you'll see a auto-generated "home" link there.

Hey thanks for your feedback, i got the drop down thing right, but stuck with the back to main menu link.

Where exactly do i have to change it to point it right?

Thanks for sharing a link and screenshots! :-)

The "menu" item is linking to a category page instead of the home page. Just change/edit/remove that menu item to point to the home page.

Regarding drop downs, that is in your control on the "menus" page, so you can remove them there.

i recently purchased the maitre'd theme on themeforest to use it for a catering service.
i now set up all the relevant pages and content as shown in the youtube walkthrough, but theres one big thing i can't fix.

So i try here in short...
The Main Menu is not working as it should.
If i open the website first time it's allright, but if i go to a page (i.e. about) and then click back to "menu" the startpage shows up like normal blog posts - not like the nice scrolldown.
There is a dropdown on the button from the beginning as well, which shouldn't show up here.
I really can't help me out how this came as i went step by step through the video.
