Hi again Chris,

Just thought I'd update this in case anyone else ever has the same issue.
Still not sure EXACTLY what is causing it. I resized every image on the site to not exceed a certain height and width but it still persists. I did it previously manually to one or two images and it worked, but resizing them all hasn't.

When looking at how the site is loaded on chrome, the source code looks like this

<img width="1691" height="2350" src="http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/thearchive/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/SH-1988-page-9.jpg" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="SH 1988 page 9" />

<img width="1653" height="2350" src="http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/thearchive/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/SH-1988-page-10.jpg" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="SH 1988 page 10" srcset="http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/thearchive/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/SH-1988-page-10-211x300.jpg 211w, http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/thearchive/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/SH-1988-page-10-246x350.jpg 246w, http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/thearchive/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/SH-1988-page-10-300x426.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 1653px) 100vw, 1653px" />

Image number 9 on the page (http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/steve-hackett-momentum-uk-tour-itinerary/) is fine, image 10 is different. The reason obviously is because it is insistent on loading up a lower res version for some purpose, hence the 4 different sized img sources. Why? Not sure, but will figure it out.

Hi Christopher,

That's quite weird, some of the ones that are not pixelated are larger than the others. I'll test this out though, thanks for the suggestion.

Will think about putting in a request ;)

Cheers,

Hi there,

This is not a theme-related issue. I think the issue is that your images are too large. They are being shrunk to fit the space, which seems to be resulting in quality loss. Try resizing your images so that they are optimized for the space they occupy.

Let me know if that helps.

Regarding adding elements to the page, that would require custom development. You're welcome to submit a request for custom services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Best,

Christopher

Ooh one more thing, how could we add a 'select all' button to the categories for timeline section?

We noticed something strange on our site. When viewing a gallery in the timeline the images will appear in full resolution, perfectly lovely. When viewing on a post, random images are appearing at extremely low resolution but upscaled.
http://thegenesisarchive.co.uk/itinerary-pc-the-serious-tour-europe-1-april/# If you click through you'll notice them pretty obviously.
Not sure if this is something theme or plugin related but disabling plugins hasn't done anything so they've been reenabled. We are running an outdated version of the theme currently but that will be updated in a couple of days.

Cheers
