I can confirm the loading times are not a theme-related issue. This theme uses advanced jQuery for displaying content and controlling the layout. The best way to use advanced features like this is to wait for the page to finish loading before jQuery starts taking over.

While other themes might show your content right away, that doesn't mean the page is finished loading. It just means those themes aren't waiting for the page to finish loading before showing the content. This theme does.

Turning off this waiting feature of this theme will show your content, but it isn't addressing the problem, just the symptoms of a slow loading site.

As you can see I am having problems with my site taking a long time to load, I have backed up the wp-content folder, the database SQL file and reinstalled Wordpress 3.5.1, but still takes forever to load. When I change themes it loads instantly? (I know you said that the theme is not related to loading) I am only using 2 plug-ins -Contact Form 7 and I loaded WP Super Cache to help loading times , but it is still loading very slowly, over 1 minute for each page.
Also, I think I renamed the welcome page to the blog page, as the blog page is where the embedded vimeo video file is now playing.
What I want is to have the site load normally, the home page to display the vimeo embedded video and act as a static page as it does now, with the content displayed below.
Can you help me with this? I would pay you if it was a reasonable cost.
