I tried to search for this and didn't find anything ...

It looks like, if you have too many characters in the sub-text field, that the formatting of the Title and the SubText gets "wrapped" in such a way that causes things to get look bad.

For example, if I have a Title and Sub-Text normally, it would look like this:

Title | Sub-text

But if the combined text is too long, it winds up looking like this:

Title
| Sub-text

I can provide some screen shots if this isn't clear.
