I had the same issue hosting with godaddy and a few others hosts. They would not edit the allow_url_fopen via phpinfo()for me, also the instructions should now be changed to read, "add to option tree" instead of insert into post, assuming your hosting company will make the change to the phpinfo file that is.

The 30 second way to deal with this is to grab the header_bg.jpg file from your wordpress image folder, dump your logo on it via photoshop or any program and adjust it until you like how it looks and then replace that header_bg.jpg file on your website. Worked like a charm!

Can you post a link to your site, along with the URL to your logo (from the Media Manager)?

I actually have the same issue, after I go into optiontree I go to the logo tab and upload my img but instead of an "Insert into Post" Button I get an "add to optiontree" button instead which does nothing.

I have verified that allow_url_fopen is enabled via phpinfo(). The problem is that there is no "Insert Into Post", instead I have option to "Add to option Tree"... whether I click this option or not makes no difference, logo gets uploaded but does not get added to theme.
