The lastest version of the theme doesnt require the OptionTree plugin rather than its built in

For some reason updating Option Tree to 2.0.12 (from 2.0.9) and reuploading the image solved the problem.

I initially was able to use the Option Tree to upload the logo without any problem, but when I decided to upload a different logo, I no longer see the image on the site.

Unfortunately I don't know how to edit php.ini and turn getimagesize on (in fact, I don't know who the host is, as I'm assisting a friend and didn't purchase the site). What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it? The site is not live at this point, but is supposed to be in the next week or so, so I need to get this problem fixed.

Also, I note that "insert into post" has been replaced with "send to option tree." Is that part of my problem? Apologies for being a rookie at this.
