Hi All,

Politico is a great theme, but we all know finding fixes and work-a-rounds is a part of the Wordpress process.

I also couldn't figure out the "getimagesize()" ini issue and would be glad to eventually see a solution.

As to changing the "header_bg.jpg" file, it's easy to do in Photoshop--then I simply used Yahoo's File Manager (part of their standard web hosting package and accessible through your browser) and deleted the old file and uploaded the new jpg. No need to deactivate and rebuild the entire site.

Hope that helps.

hi justin, sorry for the confusion. if you look at the site http://www.velishekonline.com you will see that the logo .png is applying. It is just not sizing correctly. as per the "getimagesize()" ini issue i am thinking. I am going with the edit of the "header_bg.jpg" file to bypass this issue and when I have some time I will write out a fix. seems a few of us are running into hosts that are a bit funny on the PHP. In this case I am stuck with yahoo as the host. thx for the replies

I'm not sure I follow... are you still having issues? Your message is confusing as if you figured it out...

Can you clarify?

So after reading most of the posts on the logo issue calling yahoo and getting shot down on the "getimagesize()" i am looking at the following fix from justin.. If i do as stated below I will have to re set everything up i am thinking... which sucks cause i just did a bit of work and do not want to loose the day... any suggestions prior to me doing the following and is the following the right solution..

*****I opened the "wppolitico.zip" on my desktop and found the the file "header_bg.jpg" in the images folder. I used PhotoShop to add my logo into the original "header_bg.jpg" file and then recompressed the new folder to .zip. I had to deactivate the theme, delete it and then upload my new modified "wppolitico.zip"*****

my site http://www.velishekonline.com

thx in advance for any help...
