Hi there,

Excellent!

The song list feature built into the theme is generated when the theme detects audio files attached to specific posts/pages. If you don't see any tracks loaded, that means there are no audio files attached to that post/page.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

One last question. I see in the demo that the song list loads on every page. How do I get mine to do that?

I had originally just placed each song in the content of the post. I just created an audio play list instead and now it load the way it does in the theme demo. Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

The audio tracks in your screenshot are not the kind you're intended to use with this theme. The audio tracks should load outside the content area on the right-side of the page (not inside the content as shown in your screenshot). Please refer to the demo site for examples of how the audio tracks should load: http://themes.themolitor.com/nocturnal

Hope that helps some.

Best,

I had a feeling you would say that about the contact form, since it uses a plugin, but the audio tracks don't use a plugin, they are just placed on the page following your theme instructions. When you view that page do you see the audio tracks looking like the right or left screen capture on the image I sent you?

Hi there,

Unfortunately these are not theme-generated items that I can provide support/troubleshooting services for. Nocturnal utilizes a lot of AJAX in order to make pages load instantly without a refresh, so it's possible these plugins simply don't like AJAX. I'm not sure. Sorry I can't provide more support here, but my support services don't cover plugin-related issues.

Hope you understand.

Best,

Thanks for getting back to me.

1. Yay! Using tiny url worked! Great idea. Thanks!
2. I created an image with the before and after refresh images: http://thedjchaney.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/screen-captures.jpg
Take a look at that. When you visit a page for the first time are you seeing the styling in the after refresh column on that image?

I always updated my software so I believe I'm using the most recent. For example my Safari is version 8.0.2.

Hi there,

1. Maybe try using a tiny URL generated for your Facebook link. http://tinyurl.com/ -- Let me know if that does the trick.

2. That's odd. I'm viewing on the same device(s) and browser(s). Maybe make sure all your browsers are up-to-date?

Let me know.

Best,

I've replaced that line of code on page 151 of custom.js but it did not fix the problem.

As for #2, I'm viewing the site on a Mac. I've tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Opera and all have same issue. It has the same issue on my iPad.

Hi there,

1. Ah, that's because the URL contains "page", which the script uses. Try this... open custom.js and change the following on line 151 from this...

if(url.indexOf(siteUrl) >= 0 && url.indexOf("#") == -1 && !thisLink.parents().hasClass('songs') && url.indexOf("wp-admin") == -1 && url.indexOf(".pdf") == -1 && url.indexOf("mailto") == -1 || url.indexOf('page') >= 0 ){

...to this...

if(url.indexOf(siteUrl) >= 0 && url.indexOf("#") == -1 && url.indexOf("facebook") == -1 && !thisLink.parents().hasClass('songs') && url.indexOf("wp-admin") == -1 && url.indexOf(".pdf") == -1 && url.indexOf("mailto") == -1 || url.indexOf('page') >= 0 ){

Let me know if that helps.

2. I visited both links and didn't see any style issues. They appear the same before and after refreshing the page. Has this been resolved? If not, please provide details about the browser and device you're using and I'll take another look.

Best,

Chris

I'm having two problems that both deal with the site loading properly. Here's my URL: http://thedjchaney.com (I have updated to your most recent theme)

In the widget area I have a bunch of social media buttons that open sites in a new window. All work fine except for Facebook. When Facebook opens in a new window and then you go back to the site all the content is gone. When you hit refresh it all comes back.

The styling for the contact form and the songs on the album post doesn’t show up correctly until you refresh. These are the two pages:

http://thedjchaney.com/slanty-shanty/
http://thedjchaney.com/contact-2/

Take a look at the difference before and after you hit refresh. Some how it seems the theme is not loading the css the first time you visit the page.

Any help you can give would be appreciated!
