Hi there,

The Custom CSS is stored in your database, which is very helpful when you're updating the theme so that your edits to style.css don't get overwritten. It's the best way to manage all your edits as well.

Inline styles are bad practice and should be avoided if possible.

Best,

Chris

Chris,
What is the difference of adding style to styles.css as opposed to using the custom CSS?

Hi there,

Inline style is generally not a good idea if you can avoid it. I recommend adding an ID or class name to your UL list and then apply the CSS in the Custom CSS box on the customize page.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Is there a way to allow for inline style to not have bullets or number show? When I tried this <ul style="list-style:none;">, it didn't work.
