Oh geeze! I'm so sorry. Yes, that is a WordPress editor issue. I'm not sure why it didn't post the link title correctly; I didn't even notice that it was missing in the markup.

As you can see, you're not putting the text inside the a tag markup. It should look like this...

... <a href="http://valley.newhavenindependent.org/archives/entry/seymour_republicans_nominate_miller_for_second_term/" title="Seymour Republicans Nominate Miller For Second Term" target="_blank">(http://valley.newhavenindependent.org/archives/entry/seymour_republicans_nominate_miller_for_second_term/)</a></p>

Please understand that since this isn't a theme issue and has to do with how you're using the WordPress editor, this isn't something I can continue to provide support for.

For some reason links aren't working when coding in posts. I've made a few posts, using v1.41, and tried to include links both with manual HTML code then trying again with the WordPress editor, but links will not show up in posts. I am getting no text or link when the post is published -- just blank space where the link would be.

However, in these posts, I had embedded SoundCloud clips with no issue. Could it be that after embedding the SoundCloud, there seems to be a conflict with code?

I don't know, it makes no sense to me why I'm unable to create links in posts?
