Hi there

I need to be able to manually enter the URL to an external site on certain posts, so that when the user clicks the Read More link on the home page, instead of going to the full post the external URL opens in a new window.

I'm a Wordpress newbie but I have a fair bit of Joomla experience. Still, the tutorials I have found on Google (like this one http://digwp.com/2010/01/wordpress-more-tag-tricks ) are not getting me to first base.

I would be grateful for any help anyone could offer.
