I found the issue. During the initial setup of the site, I had the problem with the "No Categories" displaying on the page. I had removed the line of code stated in your forum page (http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/remove-no-categories-from-menu-4) and forgot to add it back in after we started posting to the News & Events and Pastor's Blog.

I think we are good now. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks,

I went back to the setup instructions STEP 4 noted to create the categories. I wrote down the slugs for both the news & events and pastor's blog. Next, navigate to Church Theme Options admin panel. I verified the Blog Category Slug = pastors_blog (from Posts > Categories > Pastor's Blog.) News Category Lsug = news_events (from Post > Categories > News & Events).

Also, I read in Step 10 about checking the specific category for posts. The sample posts have the appropriate category checked for the post.

I'm sure there is something simple I am overlooking. Thanks for the help!

You need to add a category link to the menu, not a page link. Categories are what display posts. Pages just display the page content.

Hi Chris,

I wanted to further explain my issue. As I add posts to the News & Events section only the most recent appears on the main homepage. The older posts do not appear on the news & events page if you select from the menu bar above the image slider. Hopefully this helps to solve the problem.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

First, excellent theme! Second, when I add a post to the news&events category the post appear fine on the front home page. But I was wondering if it is possible to have all the current and previous posts for news & events display on a regular page on the site?

Thanks!
