Yes - you're going to have to edit your ht.access file on the server. I suggest that you have your Hosting company help you with this. I found a couple articles online as well which should help as well. This is not an issue with the theme:

I have noticed i am only allowed to upload a file size maximum of 2MB... This limits the quality of image i can publish on my site.
However, when i look at your online You Tube video PhotoPharm Walk-Through, i can see at the same section it states : Max upload file size to be 195MB?
Can you help me with this. I am keen to be able to upload my photos at a similar quality i can normally see them in Lightroom!
