Hi there,

Your gallery is still linking to the attachment page. You can tell when it is properly linking to the media file because the URL of the link would end with a .jpg, .png or .gif.

Please understand this isn't a theme-related issue, but has to do with a core WordPress feature. Unfortunately I'm not able to keep troubleshooting this with you as I do not provide support for WordPress training and instruction.

Hi Chris-

I made sure to select the "media file" link option but it still isn't working.

When an image is clicked, it goes to a page with only the clicked image showing... If that single image is clicked, it then opens the lightbox...

It would be much better if the click on a gallery image were to open lightbox allowing the user to then "scroll" through the gallery images.

Please advise!

Hi there,

When creating a gallery, make sure to select the "media file" link option, and not the "attachment" link option in the gallery settings (right-hand side).

Lightbox is not working with any gallery images. I followed the directions in the Help file, but it not current with the newest release or WP.
