Google Chrome. It happens in Firefox, IE and Opera as well, according to my visitors.

It's due to deeplinking (I mentioned it in my other post - I should have updated this one instead.. whoops). In the changelog for PrettyPhoto it mentions this issue.. there's also a lot of posts on their support forum about it as well.

If you upgrade PrettyPhoto to 3.1.4 and change 'deeplinking:true' to 'deeplinking:false' in wpbm/scripts/scripts.js it remedies the issue.

I've not yet encountered any caveats due to turning that feature off..

Hey!

Yeah, it closes fine, but when you hit the back button to get back to the main page (ie, the home page that displays all of the posts) you have to hit the back button 3 times in order to get there.

It appears that PrettyPhoto is what's causing this. Here are the 3 urls that come up in the address bar as you're hitting the back button:

This is the url while the image is opened in the lightbox: http://.../#!prettyPhoto[pp_gal]/13/

This is the url after you exit the lightbox: http://.../#!prettyPhoto

This is the url after hitting the back button once: http://.../#!prettyPhoto[pp_gal]/13/

Hitting the back button again displays the url to the post

Hitting it again brings you back to the main blog page.

Hey MJB,

Adding the logic in the not show the buttons would be a decent sized customization. As we built the Theme, it was really intended to display a gallery. Also, the lightbox is a script that we did not write.

As for the attached image, when it pops the lightbox, you should just be able to click the X or anywhere outside of the lightbox to close it. I'm in Chrome and both of those options work just fine.

Thanks!
Justin

Also, one other quirk.. if you click on an image attached to a post, it opens in the lightbox, you have to hit the back button on your browser 3 times before getting back to the main page. I'm using Google Chrome. Is this unusual behavior?

Okay, on to the second small quirk.

In galleries that only have one image, in the lightbox, it still shows a left/right arrow, as if there's more images to view. Is there a way to change this behavior and have it not display the arrows if only a single image exists?
