My apologies for blowing up the thread but I wanted to provide you with as much information as possible. I noticed that the background for the first post stopped loading as soon as I turned on the Mini Slider through the Theme Options. When I turn the mini slider off. The problem persists.

Just to follow up below are the names of my two plugins that the site uses:

1. SoundCloud Shortcode - Converts SoundCloud WordPress shortcodes to a SoundCloud widget.
2. Wp Social Toolbar Pro - Wordpress plugin for adding a customizable toolbar with color selection, social network icons, recent tweet and share buttons in footer

I have not made any edits to the code and I have only one plugin installed. Even when I remove it the same problems persist:

1. Background image of first post won't load when site is opened. (The image does however show up when you cycle through the posts.
2. No all songs play when clicked on in Chrome. (Works on Internet Explorer)
3. Player does not appear on below the logo space in Chrome. (Appears on Internet Explorer)

Would it be worth reinstalling the theme again and starting from scratch?

I see you have a lot of edits to your site. Are those plugins or theme customizations?

If plugins, please try deactivating any additional plugins you have installed and check if the issues continue.

If theme customizations, please temporarily revert to the default setup of the theme to check if the issues continue.

I double checked on internet explorer and the music is working. It seems to not be working on Chrome. Why could this be the reason?

Thank you! Changing the setting to one worked! Now I'm not completely sure why all my songs don't play. I have tried to upload them multiple times but only a few of them play.

Try changing your reading setting to 1. Log into your WordPress Admin and go to Setting -> Reading and set "Blog pages show at most" to display 1 post.
