Hi there,

You can use the built-in version of jQuery by opening "header.php" and removing the following on lines 108-109...

wp_deregister_script('jquery');
wp_register_script('jquery', ("https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js"), false, '');

Please keep in mind that it's possible some scripts depend on that particular version of jQuery, so be sure to do full survey of your site and make sure all the same interactions/effects work as expected.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi there. We have been using the eventure them @ http://www.theauricle.net for a long while and love it!

I know you don't support plugin issues with the theme but I was hoping maybe there was a quick fix for this you might know.

We purchased a FB galleria plugin called Walleria (http://zoxion.com/walleria) and are having issues with it's functionality. The support team for this plugin is saying it's because the eventure theme is still using jquery 1.6 and if it was using the jquery built in to the newest wordpress (ver 1.8) it would work fine. Is there a way to upgrade the theme to use the built in jquery in wordpress or upgrade it?

The page with the plugin is here: http://theauricle.net/new/?page_id=13

Thanks so much

Nick

Currently using Wordpress 3.5 and Eventure 1.0.4
