I made the suggested changes the issue still exists.

I double checked that the files moved properly via FTP by going to the appearance>editor on the dashboard and verifying that the changes made to header.php where there (and they were). I then deactivated all plugins and tried again still no "Your message was sent successfully" pop up. I then changed the theme to tweenty eleven and tried the contact form it then worked correctly. I have now switched back to the church theme.

Alrighty, I got a fix for ya...

Open up "scripts.js" and remove lines 1-20 (basically everything above the "Easy Slider 1.7" script).

Then, open "header.php" and change the following on line 44 from this...

<?php wp_head(); ?>

...to this...

<?php
wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
wp_head();
?>

I tested this and the contact form works just fine. Let me know if you have success with this too.

I tried deactivating the other plugins and the problem persists. Also even with all plugins active I the contact forms work properly if I switch the theme to twenty eleven. But, when I switch back to the Church theme it stops working correctly.

It sounds like there might be a script conflict somewhere.

Please try deactivating additional plugins you have installed (except for the contact form 7 plugin) and let me know if the issues persist.

There seems to be a conflict with the contact form 7 plugin in. I switched the theme to the default wp theme and the contact forms work fine but with the church theme they do not work properly. The "you message was sent" never pops up it just keeps loading and never informs the user that their message was sent.

there are contact forms on the "I'm New", "Contact", and "Become a Volunteer" pages.
