Hi there,

I recommend creating a standalone "slider" or "Featured" category that doesn't have any associate with your events/calendar categories.

Then just be sure to assign posts to BOTH categories (i.e. "Featured" and "Events", etc.).

I would like my Slider to only display exclusive events, whereas my calendar will display all of the upcoming events. I've created parent and child categories like the following:
EVENTS
Calendar and Slider
Child
Child
Calendar only
Child
Child

I have then applied "Calendar and Slider" to the slider, and "Calendar only" to the calendar. I want my "Calendar and Slider" to also appear on the calendar, but it wont as "Calendar only" is already there. How would one go about fixing this issue?
