Gotcha, thanks for explaining your circumstances.

Looking into this further, unfortunately there were some pretty big updates that added support for basic CSS features like positioning (i.e. added support for absolute and fixed CSS positioning).

The version of Safari you have doesn't support those very basic features of CSS. Unfortunately there isn't a very good fall back for web designs that heavily use these positioning methods (again, very basic CSS methods, nothing crazy).

Use of these features are likely to only increase in mobile web design, which I can see kinda sucks.

Hope that explains things in greater detail!

That's great to know it works. Thank you.

The iPod I have is fully up to date. Apple doesn't support their older products, so mine was left in the dust a year ago. I don't know how many people have old iOS iPods with the same problem as me, but that would be the only reason to look into this further.

Thanks Again,
Chris

Hi there,

I'm running iOS 5.1.1 and I'm not seeing any display issues on my end: http://postimage.org/image/jjrlzuod3/ -- it sounds like you're experiencing a bug with the older iOS.

Is there a reason you haven't updated? If there are legitimate reasons I should support older versions of iOS, I'll definitely consider looking into this deeper.

Thanks!

Chris

I checked both sites, the demo and mine, on my iPod and the do not work properly. The problem is that I can't scroll down to view anything. I can see the logo, menu, copyright, and some of the welcome text.
My iPod is a 2nd Generation with os 4.2.1.

Thanks,
Chris

One more question: when going to my site on an iPod, I noticed that the site doesn't 'work'; if you click on the 'gallery' link, it doesn't load the gallery. If you click on 'about the artist', it takes you to that page, and you can see some of the text, but cannot scroll through what is written there.

Is there something I've missed? (Or, is this theme not compatible?)
