Well, I had to create a small logo and now I have grown rather fond of it, but I wanted to leave you feedback in case others ran into this issue. Thank you for creating a great theme :)

I appreciate the feedback! As a developer, I admittedly assume that every user has a logo they want to use.

If you still want to avoid the use of a logo, try adding the following to your Custom CSS box...

#header {
    padding-top: 75px;
}

I can confirm that on the iPhone, no logo = no menu. I just purchased the Novelist, installed Wordpress then loaded this theme and on the iPhone there is no menu. After I uploaded a logo, the menu appeared. It is fine, just people should know that as I had to come to this support forum and create an account to find out why there was no menu.

Many people who purchase this theme are looking for a minimalist environment and may not want a logo at all... I didn't. Just providing feedback. I do like the look of the theme. :)
