I fixed the problem. Somehow a z-index crept in to the css section of main video styling. Having done that. Now the question I have is, why does the menu go behind the main embed video? See my above link and when if there is a multi level menu, it goes behind the video, leaving the option of viewing the menu.

I understand the issue is only videos in the header/intro section don't play. I haven't seen this happen before, so please humor me with a couple basic troubleshooting steps...

1. disable all plugins (just in case).

2. test on another domain/installation (if possible).

Since I've never seen this happen and I'm unaware of the cause, I need to rule these out before I can continue to troubleshoot with you.

I have other plugins installed but it does not have anything to do with this. The reason you see "wordpress_sandbox" is because I installed it in that folder, just so that my client does not mess up things. All said and done the bottom line is, youtube videos don't play only in the intro section, but they play fine in the internal synopsis section. Vimeo does not play in any browser. Can you help here? Do you need any diagnosis info?

Thanks for the additional info and for updating the theme.

I don't believe those are theme-related errors. Do you have any plugins installed/activated? If so, try deactivating those.

Also, I see the URL has "wordpress_sandbox" in it. Is there anything special about your hosting setup? Have you tried loading this on another domain/setup to see if the same issue persists?

Again, I haven't seen this happen before, so I'm just addressing the obvious stuff first.

Updating did not help. But it's weird that only the intro videos do not play. Youtube doesn't play in chrome and safari. Vimeo doesn't play in any browser. The videos in the synopsis piece play perfectly though in all browsers. Seeing this for youtube videos in chrome - event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead. and seeing this for vimeo in firefox TypeError: p.getComputedStyle(...) is null when inspecting.
Need your help as my client is getting cranky and pisssed off!

I see what you mean. That's very odd. Haven't seen this happen before, so I'm not immediately aware of what the issue is...

Hi. I purchased this theme. The intro videos for my post be it either youtube or vimeo don't play at all. I inset the iframe embed like needed. Here is my site http://nfmmotion.com/wordpress_sandbox/this-is-kuduro-this-is-angola-culture/ . Any help here is appreciated.

Also, how do I update the theme to new code base?
