Hi there,

The calendar displays the text you used to create the category. You can edit the category name if you want to display something different.

already figured out. though, further question: is it possible to display a different name for a category in the calendar view?
eg. "all events" instead of just "events".

Just a couple things I need to know in order to continue troubleshooting this for you: (1) Can you confirm that you have a category selected for your calendar (via the Customize page) and (2) that you have posts assigned to that category?

Hi there,

The "latest posts" setting I'm referring to is the default setting in WordPress. If it's anything different than that, it means that the site admin made changes to the default settings.

Regarding the Customize page, there are default settings already applied, but it's good practice to familiarize yourself with the options available so that you can customize the theme to your liking.

Wish there would be more guidance for new users on this theme... Is there a working demo theme somewhere installed, with test data and access to the wp-admin panel, so that I can see how it is all configured? This would save me a lot of time.

Hi there,

Be sure that your "Reading" settings page is set to display "latest posts" on the home page and that you have your settings on the Customize page properly configured (i.e. assigned categories for the slider/calendar, have sections turned "on", etc).

just installed Eventure theme on WP 4.1 RU. I've added new posts and entries, but the main page remains blank. Went through all settings of the theme, and didn't find a way to add a top level menu. please advise.
