I just submitted an update that improves the navigation link location (activates infinite scroll better). This will address the issue you're having when you have infinite scroll deactivated.

To remove infinite scroll, open up "footer.php" and remove (or comment out) the following on lines 87-100...

Hey Chris,

Spoke to you a week or so ago about infinite scroll. A plugin was clashing with it. I need the plugin and decided that infinite scroll can be forgone if necessary (even though I'd hate to turn it off). What do I do/where do I go to turn it off?

So my culprit was jQuery Masonry Image Gallery plugin. I am guessing that is not needed for this theme.

Do you have additional plugins installed? If so, try deactivating them one-by-one to see if they are the cause of the problem.

I have checked Theme Options - Home Page - Initial Number of Items (20) and Settings - Reading - Blog pages show at most (20) and Syndication feeds show the most recent (10)
When I scroll down to the bottom of the page the additional posts come up directly on top of the current ones. They are not flying in like the Sample and coming up below the existing posts.

Does the Syndication Feed need to be 20 also? I changed it to 20 and still had the same issue.

I also went to Theme Options - Home Page - Home Category (Unorganized) which is correct as i want all of the page posts to appear on the home page.

Even tried clearing the cache and reloading the page.

Still having a headache with this. Any suggestions?

Also on the site - http://www.thebloke.co.nz - any idea why the posts/images have the gaps in between them. I did alter the CSS to give me larger fonts - but can't see how that would have effected the layout.

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would just post into this one.

The site has been running great, but all of a sudden the infinite scroll has stopped working. In fact, the spinning icon just seems to stay permanently there.

I had installed some new plugins (not ones I think would have messed with it), which I have deactived, but no change, time wise, I can't confirm exactly when it happened, but in the last couple of days.

Where should I start looking? Am I able to check if something else is interfering with the workings? Thanks.

This is likely an issue with WordPress 3.5 updating jQuery and all the jQuery plugins having to play catch up.

I'll see if there are any updates for infinite scroll that will address this.

Thanks for reply. I think I sorted it. I don't have many post to your point so it's not like you can really test it too far. I had the infinite scroll plugin installed and activated and when I deactivated it, it all of a sudden worked. I'm assuming it was clashing with something in the theme.

either way make sure your using version 1.1.1 AND both the theme options & the default reading setting in WordPress are set to the same number
