Unfortunately that did not work.... I actually had tried it that way first and thought maybe it needed the class...

I have a child css file loaded and I put the code in there as well as the customizer section for custom css.... No luck..

Could you maybe please check against the demo site? This really should do the trick to get the individual pages styled... Thank you so much!!!

Hi there,

Remember, the body tag is a standalone tag in CSS, not a CSS class. Try this...

body.page-id-728 {
background:#ff00ff;
}

So having a little bit of trouble still...

So I saw that you declared the wordpress body tag function in the header file...

I tried to then target the page I wanted to add the custom BG too since single pages are not supported...

.body.page-id-728 {
background:#ff00ff;
}

Not sure why its not working... That should target that specific page and then allow me to change the BG to a full color or image...

Hi there,

That's correct, the BG image is not meant to display on individual pages/posts (as demonstrated on the demo site).

Implementing a bg on these pages will require custom development.

Ok I think this will be my last question and then we will have the site and theme working very well together...

So I have some links on the site that go to a single page on the site... So all I did was make a new page and put the text I wanted there in it and chose the BG image to use... Well it works but for some reason the BG image is not showing up?

Do the BG images not work if the page is not part of the main one page scrolling site? How can I get a BG image on a single page?
