Hey End3rr,

This is a great idea and hopefully a resolution for my issues...

How did you get the slider on the home page in this theme? Did you use the "header" instructions they have, or did you have to do something with the Slider template?

As @ End3rr you'll have to integrate your own slider/a plugin or modify the current one

I'm using vSlider 4.1.1, very simple and easy to use Slider, you can configure how many slides do you need, how big should they be and you have few different animations to use. Great plugin for wordpress.

Is there a way to have the slider completely independent from the events posts? That is to say have a slider that shows static slides that link to other external pages?
