I just don't know if my suggestions will work with your custom additions. That said, I posted some places for you to look. I have not done this customization, as it's outside the scope of this forum, but those are the files you should have to edit to make the change.

I didn't realize your site had so many customizations done to it already. Providing theme support for themes with any customization is against the rules.

With that said, please try your options again in the functions.php, css, and/or the prettyphoto, and/or scripts file. You can edit it in one of those files, but I have never modified it myself.

Again, looking in those few places should get you moving in the right direction.

I didn't make any modifications because as I said I don't know where to modify to increase the width and height of thumbnails.
I've modified just ul.galleryBox li {width: 103px; height: 103px} and it's not working.
I'm waiting for a suggestion...

I've tried to increase the width and height from the css but is not working because the image is resized initially by javascript/php.
Or I need to request customization and pay for just to tell me where I have to modify that function ?

Have you tried adjusting the following (along w/the functions.php file) in your CSS?

ul.galleryBox li {width: 53px; height: 53px; margin: 0 5px 5px 0; list-style: none;

While I haven't tried this out, that could be the other place you need to adjust your width and height. Rather than editing the Stylesheet though, you can try something like this in your Theme Options > General > Custom CSS (optional):

ul.galleryBox li {width: 65px; height: 65px}

If that doesn't work, go ahead and remove it from the Theme Options section and it'll go back to the default settings.

I do want to warn you that list elements this small, in a small container, can really become out of place when you increase the size of the thumbnail. Anyways, good luck!

How can I increase the size of the thumbnails in the gallery tab, I noticed that now are 53x53.
I've looked into functions.php at add_image_size( 'small',53 ,53, true ); modify the values and nothing is changed.
So, I assume is possible to increase the size of thumbnails but I don't know the right place to modify the values...
