Hi there,

1. If the post is in the same category you assigned as the timeline, it will automatically be added to the timeline when it is published.

2. Are you referring to the menu items? If so, you need to create a menu on the menus page. For more info about menu setup, please review the menu setup section of the documentation: http://themolitor.com/help/curator/#menusetup

Hi Chris,

about 2- No, i want the homepage as timeline, but as it's shown in the example I want the contacts and bio links (of the same pages) in the upper right part of the home page to be displaied too.

about 1- is it automatic that once a post is written it appears on the timeline?

Hi there,

The video walk-through is for version 1.0.0 of the theme. There has since been updates to both the theme and WordPress, so some features/visuals have changed a bit. Don't worry, though! The core functionality of the theme is all still there.

For the most up-to-date help with the theme, please be sure to utilize the documentation. You can view it online here: http://themolitor.com/help/curator

1. OptionTree is no longer used. Instead, The Curator now uses the new WordPress Theme Customizer feature, which is WAY easier to use. You can access the Customize page under the Appearance menu in WordPress.

2. I'm not sure I understand. Are you wanting to show pages on the home page instead of the timeline? If so, you can select pages to display as your home page form the "reading settings" page in WordPress. Just select a static page there.

3. The small descriptions for the artwork are controlled from the excerpt field on the post edit screen. If you don't see it there by default, click "screen options" in the upper right corner of the edit page and make sure the excerpt box is checked. It will then appear below the main content box.

4. No plugins are required, but I listed some suggestions in the documentation for the theme: http://themolitor.com/help/curator/#plugins

HI Chris,

I'm trying to build a website for an old artist, and I have a small experience with 3 others wp websites I created last year.

I just watched the tutorial, It didn't help that much as hoped, so I'm going to ask you 3 very basic questions:

1- How to set up the timeline??
I noticed the plugin option tree in the tutorial, so I guess it must be helpful somehow and I've just installed it. Must I use it to set up the timeline, or there's another plugin for that? Same thing for the contact form 7, but luckily I know how to use it

2- How to make the pages (bio and contacts) I created appear in the home page?
They look simply like posts so far.

3- How to create small details of the artworks and place them in the timeline (boxes) as shown in the tutorial?

4- Are there others plugins you used that you would recommend me to obtain the same structure of the site?
