Btw, I wanted to mention the images are displayed properly on the Home page, they seem to only get squashed when used as in-post gallery.

Hi there.

I must be not getting something about this.

I change Media Setting to those set in Documentation. I also changed the sizes of my images so that none exceed 590 in width and 999 in height. But my vertical images are still coming out squashed: http://www.justaddsolutions.com/mariaarefieva/wedding/2011/09/06/us/

In the help file, there is a "media settings" section. Make sure your media settings page matches what is shown in the screenshot in the help file. Let me know if that helps.

I'm having an issue with the in-post images - the vertical images get rescaled to odd height, see the page: http://www.justaddsolutions.com/mariaarefieva/wedding/2011/09/06/us/

I'm using FULL SIZE option when uploading the photo.
