Thanks, Chris... you've just removed a weight from my shoulders. That's what I needed to see. Thanks again - much appreciated! I'll surely be back for something else, but this answers my immediate problem. ;-)

Are you trying to show the home page like the demo? If so, have you configured the categories you want to display on the home page in your theme options?

Thanks!

I understand, Chris... but I've set the reading page so that the default post shown should be the most recent post, but it still shows an empty page, except for the right hand column.

Hi there,

Regarding the login page, the text you write will only appear when you're logged into your site from that browser.

Regarding the subscribe page, it's appearing as it should for me in FireFox, Chrome and Safari. Maybe clear your cache in the browser it isn't appearing on?

Regarding the menu, be sure to assign the menus on your menus page. Example: http://themolitor.com/help/dailypress/images/menu.png

Hope that helps.

Thanks!

http://lacoulisse.ca/subscribe/

- In this page, I should see a subscribe page template, but in safari, I see nothing.

- In Chrome and opera I see nothing either... simply the word subscribe, which is the page title - no script or template in any of the three browsers.

- The default page template, the site map template and the staff list templates work fine, but the two others (login and subscribe) do not work.

- the sidebar thing was resolved this morning, so the problems involve the page templates and the different browsers

- Additionally - the newly created pages don't show up in either the sidebar, nor on the front page. There is no way to reach them directly. In other words, the sidebar does not update, so the visitor has no way of attaining the new posts or pages.

http://lacoulisse.ca/enregistrez-vous/ which should have the login template activated. The drop down box is in the middle of page - right hand side. When I select a page template, I assume it should insert the necessary code so that the page reflects this choice, but nothing seems to happen.

Hi Chris, When I create a new page using the Daily Press theme, I don't seem to be able to activate the page templates, even though I check the boxes. Nothing happens. The pages remain empty instead of populating the login, for example, or any other of the page templates. Is there something more I should be doing to make this all work the way it should?

BTW - My top of the page bar doesn't contain the page template options, like login, site map, staff list or subscribe... and when I check these off when creating a new page, nothing happens.

Hi there,

The page template options should be available in a drop down menu on the right-hand side of the page edit screen. There are no check boxes for that.

If that doesn't help, please provide a link to a page that is suppose to have a page template applied and I'll take a look.

Thanks!
