The home page shows various posts, not just individual images. You need to create posts and they will appear on the home page.

I am having problems uploading photographs to a page I created for my portfolio. I uploaded images to the page (there is no featured image box), but they do not load when I look at the face of the website. Am I uploading them to the right place?

Also, how do you upload images to the home page?
