Links in posts not showing up on page although show in back end. Also same problem with pages.

Make sure you're selecting "file URL" as the link for the image, and not "Post URL".

I love love love your work!

I ran into a problem, however. I uploaded an image, inserted it onto a page, and it appeared just fine when published. However, when I clicked on the thumbnail (which I had selected to place on the page), I got this message:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/content/16/7105016/html/wp-content/themes/WordPress Politico/wppolitico/functions.php on line 56

Can you assist?
