Here's what the URL for the "email" link on the demo site looks like...

mailto:info@thecontractor.com?Subject=Inquiry%20via%20Website

"info@thecontractor.com" is the email that is being sent to and "Inquiry%20via%20Website" (Inquiry via Website) is the subject line.

Hi there,

The pages you're referring to (i.e. Residential, Commercial and Community) are post category pages. They are not pages that you create via "add new page".

If you're home page is displaying posts, that means you're using the "latest posts" option for your home page, which is the default setting when you install/setup WordPress. The demo site uses a static home page created using the "add new page" feature. You can control the home page setting on the Customize page (appearance > customize).

This seems to be one of the most confusing projects ever. On your template you have a homepage. There are categories..Projects>Residential....I want all of these post/project previews to display on the residential page. Not on the category homepage. How do I do this? I've posted the links on the category page and these previews display on my homepage...Please help

Sorry, I see I misunderstood what you were asking. Just to clarify, you're trying to create the post/project previews on the category page, correct? That's a WordPress category page, not a standard page. To create a category page, all you need to do is...

1. Create your posts.
2. Upload images to your posts (be sure to assign one of the images as a "featured image" for the post).
3. Assign your posts to the "Residential" category (or any category you want).
4. Add the "Residential" CATEGORY link (not a page link) to your menu on the menus page.

Since the "residential" page is a standard WordPress category, the content will automatically populate for you.

Here I've had no problem setting up a gallery, but how to get the 4 image displays on the residential page I cannot for the life of me figure out.

I am very frustrated with this. As it's been 3 weeks of messaging. I am trying to have a page like your demo. When you click Residential it has 8-10 projects displayed. With the Four image display for each. I have tried just about everything and nothing will create these things which is leaving me to believe it is not possible with the template I've bought.

Can you please assist me in a walkthrough with one instead of just referring me to the instruction page that does not get me through this process.

You can say something like this and I will get it.

POSTS > ADD NEW > etc etc.....

Can you please tell me how to make those 4 image preview things. I will start a new post. Then I will select New Post > Add Media > Create Gallery > Select my Images > Insert Gallery

This will insert all the photos in the body. It will not give me the preview things I've indicated. Can you advise?
