i'm having some difficulty with the featured image aspect of the novelist. i'm getting better and better at wordpress and understanding the theme's css but i'm still a newbie so bear with me! when i make an image a featured image, the header will drop to the bottom of the image. is there a way i could change that, to keep it at the top?

No worries... but, there is nothing wrong with the site. It's a 2 column layout, so the image is Centering within it's column, the left column.

Other than the Featured Image solution, I'm not sure what else you could do...

http://wwtf.me/wtf-moments
That's the link of the page giving me some issues. I'm trying to center the image, but it doesn't work. It either goes to the left or to the right, and I think this is because of the code, which calls for the layout of the pages to have two columns. If I make the image a "featured image", it centers perfectly but the heading drops to the bottom, underneath the image. If possible, I'd like to have just this particular page read as one column...everything else, like the wtf-home and about page is fine as 2 columns. But I think it would be a headache...thanks for staying with me here though! I appreciate it!

Lol, I understand. The big problem is creating a page and not being able to center pics/iamges. I think this has to do with the 2 column coding of the novelist. I'd like to change it but doubt that I could do it for just one page...?

Hi Justin,
Thanks for the compliment. I actually haven't figured it out. I think it will be something that has to be changed within the code. The problem is that I have created 5 menu items at the top of the site, so, say, when I try to upload and center a drawing and make it a featured image (on the same page of one of the menu items), sure it centers, but the heading not only drops to the bottom but it also cannot be erased, because to do that would also erase the name of the menu item with the same name. When I tried to create a new page and just nest it in the menu category of the same name, it would not center at all and I believe the heading also dropped to the bottom.
Ex. One of the categories is 'wtf moments'. When you click on this as a menu item, the white page comes up with the heading 'wtf moments'. I think the problem is that the 5 pages I created (in which I want to nest other items) is read by the website as the same as my menu items. So when I make my image a featured one, 'wtf' moments is the header, but when I try to erase it I, again, erase the menu category, or whatever I type into the header will become that menu category.
I hope this isn't too confusing!

Looks like you have both items working now - is that correct?

Hi,
I am a new user of the Novelist. I love it (thanks!), but am having some difficulty with image centering. I read some related posts but don't know if this is more of a theme issue that isn't offered by the Novelist. I've been having a really difficult time placing an image at the center of the page. It will go left and right and anywhere besides center. I've clicked on center in both the image file section and in the adding new pages section. I tried to do something with the code in the style sheet and have pretty much done everything I know how to do. Can someone help?
Also...I have about 5 sections to choose from in my menu. I was wondering though if it's possible to have my menu items in lowercase? I write it that way in the menu section, but it still displays as uppercase. Btw, my site is http://wwtf.me/
Thanks so much.
