Getting ready to install the update, I have a couple of custom page mods on "archive.php" and "single.php" to remove db entries for "author", are there specific pages I can push up that will incorporate the fix? Ta! ~ Steve

Very interesting, thank you. So actually this error;

<b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset 'bg' in <b>/home/cecink/www/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/novelist_files_1.4.2/wpnovelist/include/post-options.php</b> on line <b>32</b>

Is populating new pages and posts within the custom field you mentioned, any idea why that would be? I dont think the site contributor will remember to keep deleting the error from the form.

Hi there,

On the post edit screen, be sure the custom fields below the main content box are empty. Sometimes even having an empty space (i.e " ") can create this error message.

Hi,
I just put this theme up at http://www.cecink.com
At the bottom of the page for custom post options I get;

<b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset 'bg' in <b>/home/cecink/www/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/novelist_files_1.4.2/wpnovelist/include/post-options.php</b> on line <b>32</b>

I know from a previous post that if I do not want custom BG image I can change some code, however,I might want the BG image and it is not clear where certain items are being used so not sure what to fix for this one. I am thinking it might be caused by having an additional folder path in the install directory.
