Hi there,

You can copy/paste that into the post content, but the play buttons on the home page and on the video pages, etc. require either MP4, YouTube or Vimeo videos.

For posting video on my site i need to use shortcode or iframe like this

Hi there,

With the way this theme is setup, videos play/display a very specific way. Using plugins/shortcodes will restrict videos to displaying in the post/page content area only, which I don't recommend.

I can take a look if you provide a link to a page using the shortcode, but please keep in mind I may not be able to help as plugin-related issues are not covered under standard support.

I use shortcode for posting video because of i use plugin for playing video.

Hi there,

Is there a particular reason the current theme options for videos do not work? In other words, I'm not understanding why you prefer to use a shortcode for video instead of the options currently available.

With the way VYSUAL displays videos (i.e. full screen pop-up, etc.), the markup needs to be generated a specific way. By using an iframe/shortcode, you're restricting the video to only being displayed withing the post/page content area and not in the designated places videos currently display (i.e. pop-up, top of the post page, above the post title on category pages, etc.).
