Hi there,

If your IE browser is in "compatibility mode", that means it's using the IE7 browser engine and not the IE8/IE9 engine. It's basically reverting your browser to IE7.

Thanks!

Hi Chris

Thanx a lot. #2 and #3 are now fixed.

As for #1, my knowledge is far from big when it comes to these kinds of issues so I don’t really understand you explanation. I understand that theme is not compatible with IE7, but how come I can’t see the site in IE8 and IE9?

Cheers

Hi there,

1. Panels does not support IE7. In "compatibility mode", the browser is using the IE7 engine to display content.

2. To change the size and hover color, add the following to your custom CSS (adjust to your liking)...

ul#dropmenu li a {
 font-size:11px;
}

ul#dropmenu li a:hover {
 background-color:#999;
}

3. Make sure you're gallery images link to the image files and not the attachment page. This is an option available when creating your WordPress gallery.

Hope that helps!

Chris

Hi. Thanx for a very nice theme. I really like its simplicity.

However I have few issues with the page and I hope that you can help me with this

1 – I can’t view the page in IE. I receive an error and the page is shown in compatibility view. This goes for IE7, IE8 and IE9. Do you have an idea why this is the case?

2 – How can I change size of the menu text as well as mouse-over color of the menu boxes?

3 – Is it possible to adjust the gallery so the images don’t link to subpages with comments and so, but simply display the big version of the image when you click on thumbnail?
