Hi there,

Correct, the icon can only be customized for pages. Categories are hard-coded as WordPress doesn't have a method for controlling category features like that. You can view the icon being assigned for the category sections in header.php on lines 156-159...

if($type == 'category'){
	$menuIcon = 'icon-pencil';
	//$menuIcon = 'icon-list';
	//$menuIcon = 'icon-rss';

Notice the last two are commented out. You can uncomment (or change) them to customize the icon for category sections.

Okay, but how do I change the blog icon since blog doesn't have it's own page.

Hi there,

Icons for menu items are controlled from the page edit screen under the "Menu Icon" box for each page. Just select the icon you want to use in the drop down.

How do I add icons to my navigation bar?

I want to add font awesome icons.
I have done it before when I initially bought the theme, but now I want to change them but forgot how to do it.
