Ohhhh there's a "Slider Category" in the theme options that I couldn't see.
For some reason my browsers don't show drop down menus in Theme Options, but if I click the area where it should be then it becomes visible.

Same thing happens with the "Sidebar Position", which is kind of weird.

Hi there,

To do that you need to create a separate category specifically for the slider, such as "Slider" for example. Assign events to that category and they'll appear in the slider (posts can be assigned to multiple categories).

Hey there.
I'm wanting some events to show up in the featured slider and some that don't.
I've created a "Featured" category because in the walk-through Chris says that by selecting his "Featured" category it will then show up in the slider, which never made much sense to me.

The demo site I"m working on is http://www.mazmedia.ca/pyramid/

Basically I want the SCIENCE FACULTY PARTY to not show up in the Slider.. but still show up in the calendar and events listing.
