You do not need to repurchase. You have access to free updates. The latest copy of the theme will always be available on your downloads page on ThemeForest.

I updated my site on http://www.kobiacademy.org and the Wordpress 1.1 I purchased 2 years ago is no longer working. After several unsuccessful tries, I repurchased the latest version of the same template and could not install it because the current theme with the same name is residing on the target directory. I have my site pages content backed up and need to fix the current or install the new and recreate the pages. could you help?
